The Author

My story begins in Haiti, born Native who came to America at the age of 4. I was raised in Miami, Florida with both parents who worked hard all my childhood life. I have two children of my own, Michael Amare Chavers, Jr. and Aaliyah Rose Chavers. I earned my A.S degree in Paralegal Studies and my Bachelor’s in Organizational Management from Indian River State College. Additionally, I earned my Master’s in Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and currently enrolled at Regent University Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership Program. While obtaining my degrees, I had the opportunity to travel outside of the United States to the Bahamas, Costa Rica, China, Haiti, Mexico, and Spain. With that in mind, I accomplished everything I just mentioned working full-time at work and at home. Being a mother comes with its challenges, but I was blessed with an awesome support system and a mother who raised me to be independent. The woman who I call mom was able to create and run her own business, while attending school. Leading to why I decided to dedicate my first book from my children’s book collection, Peerless Island Girl to my mother. My ultimate goal is to encourage children, especially young girls all over the world.
Nothing is impossible!
